Hi ladies, FI and I went to PA yesterday just for the day to visit his mom and we stopped at the huge candle outlet to get ideas for centerpieces. We have time but we figure little by little we'll buy this stuff and just put it on the side. So we saw this really pretty (oh its hard to explain but I will do my best) like a bird bath type thing, that is not even a foot high. It may be 8 inches high. The stem part is filled with silk flowers and marbles. then the top part the open part has floating candles and rose petals floating. It was very pretty and elegant looking. You need to see it in person to get the idea of it.

This item is a possibility. Does anyone else have suggestions for centerpieces that we can make involving something with floating candles. We have time, but we're getting ideas and if we find something we like we'll start picking it up little by little and just storing it in the closet. thanks everyone.

PS - if anyone is interested in knowing where this place is FM me and I'll give you all the details. They have 1 room just for special occassions and half the room is wedding stuff. We found what we are thinking about for favors. China tea cups that are candles. There are a lot of great ideas in this place. And the candles are not expensive. I bought a huge glass jar candle that would be about 10 bucks here, for 2.00.
