AM I the only crazy one to travel out of state for their wedding gown?

I went ALL the way to Collegeville, Pennsylvania! to a place called Bridal Town. My mom found it in a magazine. My friends said Iam Nuts! But it was soooo worth it! They had the most beautiful dresses! and were sooo nice. I tell ya the things We do for weddings!

LOL when I got my dress (in NJ near where I live) the woman told me that someone traveled from NC to buy a Maggie special edition that they had from last year.... And, it was a sample that they bought too!!!! So, no- you're not the only one! Glad you found your dress & had good luck on your road trip

nah- you see all the time on say yes to the dress that girls come from upstate, england, canada, all over to goe a dress. And thats just to go to kleinfelds, not even to see a specific sample.

Thats so funny you say that, I just say an advertisement for Bridal Town in Modern Bride this month and was wondering what it was like there

Finding the right gown had been a matter of prayer, so when Debi found the right one, we all,Debi, Hannah, and I were in the dressing room, jumping for joy!!!!! Mary MOB

i was gonna go there but i had my heart set on my dress and didnt wanna confse myself by trying on other dresses so i only tried that 1 on and i bought it! lol

not crazy @ all...im goin 2 brick, nj next week to try a dress that i luv. i have called every shop in nj/nj/ct & this is the only place that has it.....so if it is 'the one' then it will be well worth the travel.

Well Its not an actual Bridal Town, LOL, thats just the name of the store. Its a big Pink building with tons of dresses, some right off the runway. It Literally looks like a doll house, I think they have been there for 25 or more years.

I'll be honest I only went as far as Carle Place and Baldwin for my gown..but if I didn't see anything I loved I would have probably gone to PA as FH's parents live in Stroudsburg.
