Can you leave them on in church..

I don't even have a dress yet.. But I was wondering..

Where do you put your ring? and how does that work?

Hey Jennbaby, how high up on your arm do the fingerless gloves come? I bought mine at tri-county and I wanted them higher than the elbow but I think they might be TOO high.

Betty, my gloves come right above my elbow, same as yours, and i love the length.

I wore gloves - I just took them off when we got to the alter and the mass began. My MOH carried them out for me after the ceremony. I put them back on in the limo.

Jennbaby, mine go higher than just above the elbow. It goes like 1/2 way up my arm. Is that too high? They were only $11 (tri-county) so I am thinking of seeing how much it is to take them up (down) a little. Do you think a taylor would do this or should I just try to get new ones that fit better (I have stumpy arms )

They also have those gloves where the ring finger comes off when you are ready to put the ring on.

Jenn, they had the satin ones and matte ones on Ebay, pretty. But I was wondering, do they make these in sheer? I want them to match the chiffon look of my dress

I could have done w/o the gloves it so was not necessary, I wore them to the alter and once the Pastor said hold hands I took them off

Betty, what does your dress look like? Any higher than Shamma's may be too high depending on the dress.

It's hard to see but this is it. I kept thinking the gloves were higher until I looked at the picture after I bought the gloves. Do you think a taylor can 'hem' them? I don't know if I can find ones that will fit right

edited to say: I don't want ones that go below the elbow, I would rather them right above it
