SO the update on this is .. They are not coming to the wedding, his father and step mom as well as his family and the step mothers family, which means we lost 2 Bridesmaids, 1 groomsmen, 1 best man, and 1 reader. And a couple tables of people.
my final headcount is 81. My minimum is 100, and the Grand Marquis is calling me today to see what they can do about me having to pay the minimum vs. well i have no idea. Fingers crossed that they at most make us pay no more than 90 people 
I'll let you all know by tonight what happened, and how many of you gorgeous girls, if your free of course, can share in our day with us

OMG I'm sorry you're going through this. I know your sensitivity must be heightened right now. So hang in there and as sad as you an dfh may be.....remember it's your day. Be selfish and know you are marrying the man you love.
They're going to regreat acting like this, it's not about them, it's about you. I don't know what the wedding has to do with you not calling them on x-mas, that just sounds so silly....
But anway, enjoy your day, don't let them ruin it as hard as it is

I am so sorry that you are going through this!  Like I said yesterday, they are going to regret this forever! You are probably bettter without them there anyway, if they are just going to cause problems!

  WOW I am SHOCKED to hear that they are sticking to their guns. How incredibly selfish and immature! Their true colors are really showing! You will still have a wonderful day! Don't let them ruin it, that's what they are trying to do!

They sound like miserable people. Just remember you are better to them... don't do anything to sink to their level. Enjoy your day- it's totally THEIR loss

I am so sorry to hear that ths is happening to you .. This is soo silly.. they feel quilty now how quilty are they going to feel when they dont come to your wedding and are in 0 pictures.. very selfish

I think it was a long time coming, they are feeling like soo guilty that they re-did there whole home instead of helping us pay for the wedding, so they think we haven't been talking to them because of that, instead of the real reason that we just had finals lol
Tell them if you THINK we're not talking to you for that...how the heck do they think you guys will feel when FHs family isn't there?!?!?
I know, FH is so upset right now, but won't say it.. there to stubborn to call... but his dad has always been this way, doesn't care.
If you know FH is upset, why don't you call them. I know I know,,,,, they do suck but still his parents.
Things will never be good if they don't show up to the wedding.
