Saturday Daytime wedding-suggestions for after-party?

I would love to keep the celebrating going into the night after our reception ends. Any suggestions? Half of our guests are from out-of-state and will be staying at hotels in the area...hotel bar...Garden City Hotel Club...other suggestions?

Have you already blocked the hotel rooms? If not, I suggest only giving your guest one option (i.e. keeping them in one place) and blocking a hotel with a bar. This way all guests can be together and enjoy the drinks after the day wedding. We are doing something like that (cash bar), but in NJ, so can't help you with hotel suggestions.

I used the Holiday Inn in Plainview. It is about 5-8 min drive from NRC. I had rented a shuttle bus to transport my guests. They have a bar/restaurant in the hotel. Everyone went to the bar aftwards and I had a brunch in the hotel the next morning. MIL also hosted a small cocktail party at the bar between the ceremony and reception b/c there was some down time.
