Spinoff to wedding day present to FH....

What are you going to ask for/suggest that you want for your present? I know most brides do a piece of jewelry with some sort of blue stone somewhere, so that it counts as their something new and blue.

I'm not sure if I'd want diamond studs, since I wear hanging earrings or hoops often.

I wear a ring he bought me for our 1 year anniversary on my right ring finger.....it has diamonds and pink sapphires in it...don't know if I'd wear another ring instead of this one.

I won't know until after a fitting or until after I buy a tiara, what kind of DOJ I'm wearing..I'm confused! lol

What are you asking/hoping for?

FH heard this on a show we watched and thought it was the weirdest thing too lol Who knows if we even will exchange gifts....I mean, for people who have their parents or in-laws paying SOME part of the wedding, it's easier...but for couples like us that are dishing out all the money, it's a little harder...we have to wait and see I guess.

I dont think my FH knows either, if i told him he would probably say isnt the house enough?

but at my sisters bridal shower, her DH had a gorgeous bouquet of flowers sent over to the restaurant, i really dont think my FH would think to do something like that lol
but i thought it was so sweet

I am asking for a nice, simple everyday necklace. I never buy anything nice for myself so I think that is perfect. I found a nice white gold and diamond necklace that I liked. We'll see!
