Lost some weight!!

Hi Moms!!!
I think I lost about two lbs. in two days!
I had a Smart Ones Bistro Chicken Fettucini for supper. It tasted pretty good!!!! I had an Uncle Wallies Fat Free Gourmet Blueberry Muffin, with my decaf coffee, and International Vanilla Rum flavored creamer. For breakfast, I had three packs of my Quaker Natural oatmeal-put too much water in so added a pack. And, I still have 145 cal. left for today. I don't use anything on my oatmeal, no milk or sweetner. It's moist , tasty and sweet enough for me. I'm not a big water drinker, but yrs. ago, I did drink lots of water when I dieted, and can confirm, it does help you lose weight, and my brain felt clearer, if that makes any sense! I am aware that the first five to seven lbs. of weight loss, are fluid, but hey, I'll take it!!
I got a lot of paperwork done, so I feel better!!
Mom needed things copied, and my Husband wanted me to make Get Well cards for his Brother, and Friend. Our Pastor just had a knee replacement, so I made him one too. Now I'm doing laundry. Grandson, Shaun is coming tomorrow for his overnight. Have to remove Debi's Wedding stuff from Shaun's bed!!!!! Now where can I put it?? Mary

Re: Lost some weight!!

good work. I have been on WW for awhile and lost 17 pounds. I started before I knew my daughter was getting married and still go. The support system is great. Lots and fruit and vegies and portion control, water or decaffinated beverages and excercise is really the key. Good Luck. Susan

Re: Lost some weight!!

Wonderful news Mary! It is encouraging when you see progress. I am following the WW plan from home...not going to meetings. I had the books. So far so good. I do feel alot better too. There's nothing like a wedding to encourage us moms to lose weight.
You might find it helpful to go to this website. My sister just sent me the link for the diabetes section
www.goodeatinggoodliving.com
It is by Kraft and lots of handy tools....menu planners, logs to keep track of diet and glucose, shopping lists etc.
Let me know how you like it. ....L

Just read this Mary and it is a great start to your weight loss. I am not a big water drinker either, but I better start so that I start to lose the weight I gained since the wedding. I wish I could get myself to eat oatmeal, but it just doesn't go down (maybe I'll try the flavored ones). Anyway congratulations and keep up the good work!!
