who is on your shower invite list?

are u girls inviting all the women from your invite list? or just close family? parents friends? etc

I am inviting all women in terms of family and my friends...when It comes to FH friends ....Only the girlfriends and wives I actually talk to...

Since my FH and I used to work together every women from that job is invited...

i'm inviting close family and close friends...not sure how many of my friends will come, though because most are in CA

I think I will invite almost every woman on my guest list except for FH's friends' gfs, since most of them I do not see much (or even like!). I can think of only one or two that would be invited, and they are the ones I actually see. Oh, there are probably some friends of FMIL's that wouldn't be invited - people she works with that I never met and wouldn't invite to my shower.

i just went through our list and if i include everyone with the exception of a few of fh's friends (and not including dates of fh's guy friends)...i have 85 ppl!!!! im thinking that seems like a bit much for a shower.

which is why im thinking maybe we dont invite all the women??? but i think i have to invite all of fh's family and his mom's friends that are invited to the wedding.

You know, you are right. I will have to cut it down ... but how? Most of my list IS family! My list is 150 or so ... so about half of those are women ... maybe I could get away with inviting 65-70? That's a lot.

that's my problem...we're barely inviting any friends! so basically we have 200 ppl and i got it down to 85! but it just seems like so many. im guessing not every single person would rsvp yes...but still its a lot and i really dont think we can invite some and not others because it is mostly family. i might have to ask fmil to remove her friends??? but i know them all!!!

I only did close friends. I had a pretty small party though since most of my friends now live in other states and couldn't make it.

We're inviting all the women in the list and just my closest friends and family for the bachelorette.

I've been thinking about the same thing lately. I need to give a list to my mom -- since I don't want to know any of the details of my shower -- and I have 55. I still feel like I'm leaving people out, though I'm sure that some won't be able to make it.

we are doing my close friends... as far as our family: moms, aunts, first cousins and first cousin-in-laws. that's it.

for us its about 70 people.
