did anyone else go to look at the woodbury country club an know they wont leave you ALONE!!!

We went to look here. FH had his prom there I really don't remember it that much it was a long time ago but anyway... I was not impressed by it that much. I didnt like the rooms just didnt like it. but anyway they called us like a week later and asked if we liked it blah blah. The lady asked if it was one of our choices. whatever kinda ticked me off but i let it slide. BUT NOW they call every week... She is getting nasty like leaving a mesage on my anwering machine saying 'we do appreciate a call back' EWWWW!!! anyway. I think what every other plce did was fine they sen a nice little note saying that they realize that we were there and to give them a call with any questions! I dont know what to do with this lady that keeps calling how sould I tell her we already got our place and we didnt like i mainly because YOU ARE PUSHY!!!!! UGH! thanks for letting me vent

We looked there, and I guess we must have signed something saying they could give out my phone # and address to vendors because I still get phone calls saying that Woodbury gave them our #, and have gotten tons of direct mail from vendors (I'm not saying all of it came as a result of them, but I know for sure some of the phone calls did).

We looked there too but no one called us after the fact...we did, however, get some mail from a vendor saying congratulations on booking woodbury country club...so they give out false information too. if they call you again be blunt and tell them you booked someone else!

Sometimes these places put your name in a maybe category for the date you talked about when you visited. Just tell them you booked elsewhere. That's probably why they keep calling.

I was told the caterers give out your name after you book. So the vendor pays a commission. And not before you book. I also looked at Woodbury CC and gave out my info to them. I did not get 1 call. What you should do is call all the vendors that hound you after you book another service and they will take you off the mailing and calling list. I had a friend who called all the vendors and told them she was married already. People stopped calling real quick.

Yes, after looking at WCC, they kept calling me too, and leaving messages on my machine. When they finally caught me, I told them that we had just booked someplace else. They wanted to know where!!!
Now, I keep getting calls from different vendors, and telling them, I'm not interested. We already booked a DJ, photographer, whatever.....

I booked the WCC over a year and a half ago and I only got calls from their recommended vendors. I can't believe they would harass you like that. I am very shocked and I would feel the same way as you do.

I have had no problems since booking them and they have been a pleasure to deal with.

WCC is our second choice for our wedding, does anyone have any comments- negetive or positive on the place besides the phone calls. i could really use your help!

I've never been there but if someone kept calling me,I would NOT pick them because I would find them annoying.

I looked at the Woodbury Country Club. When I went the lady that showed me around was very rude to me, because I was not having a big wedding.

Then they continued to call me every week for three weeks, leaving the exact same message 'We would appreciate a call back'. So I called them back and let them have it. Told them I thought their employees were extremely rude and that I did not appreciate the phone calls.

She apologized and I didn't get any of their vendors calling or mailing me anything. I hate when unsolicited vendors call and mail you stuff. I hope I won't continue to get this stuff after I'm married.

I looked at the Woodbury CC over two years ago and I was NOT impressed at all by their business practices.

First, they scheduled an appointment for us to look at the facility DURING SOMEONE ELSE'S WEDDING! I was EXTREMELY turned off by this b/c I felt it was unfair to the bride and groom, and certainly wouldn't want the Woodbury CC to do this to me on my wedding day. Strike #1.

Then, they stuck us in a back room and asked us to wait momentarily for their sales manager to meet with us. We waited....and waited...getting annoyed...waiting....still no one coming...Strike #2.

At that point, I decided that their lack of organization and poor treatment of customers (both the booked and not-yet-booked) were not right for me. My parents, my fiance and I got up and walked OUT - right past the slow-as-molasses-sales-guy who was about to come into to speak w/us (after 40 min!)

No thank you!

we went to look there and the guy we dealt with was nice. after we called him back to tell him we were not going to use them, that was it.

but.... we did get calls from their house vendors asking what we were doing which was very annoying. and illegal, i think.

They must not be doinggreat business if we all have had the same problem. We to were stuck in the back room for about a half hour waiting for someone to come and talk to us HOW RUDE!!!!!! I cant believe that u guy have all had problems 2. Its not just us!

We had the same experience, they called my machine once every two days.

They are getting slaughtered by Crest Hollow and Fox Hollow right now...they were so ****ed when they finally got a hold of me and asked me, and I told them I booked with Crest Hollow.

Good. I hope they are! I dont get it we have booked at the Swan Club. But nest time they call I will be sure to pick up the phone And tell them a few things. Like maybe they are rude Harrasing me . I didnt like the place at all. And there are LOTS of other Brides to be that feel that way!!!!!!!!!

That's pretty rude, they sound desperate. I recently got a nasty letter from a band that sent me a video to view. We decided not to book them and boy are we glad, some of these vendors need to get a grip!!!
