What is TWOTY and does someone actually get married at it??? I am so confused!!!

Not that I'm expert...and I didn't go...

I think it was an event where vendors advertise... like florists, hair people, DJs, ect.

From reading earlier posts, the married couple already were married. I'm not sure how they were picked, ect.

Someone else can probably explain more...but since no one answered your post...don't feel too bad....all I saw were the 'TWOTY' posts at the top of the chat boards.

Thanks for the reply ... can someone else fill in the blanks for me, like how the B&G get chosen, is it only one B&G etc etc .... ?????? Anyone?? Come on guys, I know you were all there and I am so curious!!

It's one B & G, chosen by the Powers that Be here at LIW from the 2007 brides. There were a number of BMs too, also 2007 brides. They all wear new dresses, as advertisements for vendors.

The flowers are done by LIW vendors, as is the cake, and the DJ is a LIW vendor, etc. so you can see what all their services are like at a real wedding and if you like them, consider hiring them for your own.

To clarify: the 2007 girls were able to apply to be the Bride this year. i don't know what the selection process entailed. Next year, the 2008 girls can apply, and so on.
