Jericho Terrace (A)

We had our ceremony there as well as our reception. Everything was wonderful, Tino our Maitre D was great. Some issues with the AC...or lack of...the weather was amazingly 57 degrees and a bit warm inside....Tino did finally switch our bridal suite to a cooler one. The ceremony was fine....cocktail hour SO hot...and the AC was good for the reception....and apparently people complained it was cold...but they were just sitting there....the people on the dance floor were hot. Can't please everyone all the time. JT and their bakery Dortoni's screwed up the cake...didn't quite look like the PIC i GAVE them! Not sure what the problem was...still was a nice cake....we got a lot of compliments on it....we did do the champagne march....totally corny....and I'd recommend passing on it. It was cute for a few seconds...but they do it a little too long. Overall, JT was awesome.

DUET (infinite A's)

Our team was Jay, Chris and We. They were amazing...we got our proofs in less than 3 weeks after the wedding. We have 3000+ on disc and over 650 physical pictures. JUST GORGEOUS. They are so talented! Here are some of my favorite proofs:

Flowers By Burton (A)

I went to Burtons a few days before hand to see a sample...I was very disappointed....wasn't crazy about the colors....I had given them a picture to work off of....so I am not sure what the problem was. Anyway, they fixed it until I liked it....and I has happy. Day of: I absolutely LOVED my flowers and centerpieces. The CP had candles that were lit on the pedestals during the ceremony...I just loved it.

Khoulouds Beauty (A+)

Kacey and Rosemarie showed up at our hotel at 4am and had 6 BM's, 2 Moms and the bride ready by 9am =) They did a great job on everyone.




Officiant Captain Arnold (A)

We had seen Capt. Arnold at a wedding last year... we knew we wanted him then. Everyone was amazed how beautiful the ceremony was, the vows he had chosen for us were BEAUTIFUL and he had no problems with Joe and I reading our own vows in addition. He had a nice wine ceremony too. He spoke of us like he's known us for so long. Very intimate. Loved it and recommend it for people not looking for anything too religious.

US Limo (A) They called to confirm prior to the wedding. They showed up to the hotel extra early and picked us up from JT to bring us back to the hotel....always so prompt and curteous. Good rates for JT brides.

Tuxedos - Rogers Tuxedos in Babylon (A)

David helped us...so professional! We used the Babylon store and other groomsman used the centereach store. NO problems day of! We even had an out of state person make arrangements...no problems.

Bridesmaids Dresses: Davids Bridal, Westbury (A)

My sister found the dress....I picked the color. All the girls tried the dress on, and then ordered them. They came in within 4 months. We didnt do any alterations with Davids.




Wedding Gown, Veil, Hairpin, Earrings: The Wedding Center, Commack (A)

I know SO many people complain about TWC, i happened to go there before I discovered LIW. I had no issues. Carol helped with dresses....just kept bringing me dresses....i tried them all on until I found mine. I ordered it and it came in in 4 months.

Accommodations: Four Points by Sheraton, Plainview. (A) but had one issue

Blocking rooms was no problem...we requested the rooms on the second floor, they are nicer because they have vaulted ceilings. We, the girls had 2 standard rooms across the hall from each other and we kept the doors open and as we were getting ready we ran back and forth between them. The boys were down the hall...they had a few rooms as well. I was able to make the arrangements of keeping all the rooms together.

After Rehearsal Dinner, we checked in...and I gave my RD dress to the desk for Dry Cleaning. I had gotten something on it at dinner and I needed the dress for HM. WELL, they LOST it! Eventually they found it...but I was already in Jamaica. They did ship it to me in Jamaica...and I got it the last day.

We also hosted a brunch at the hotel on Sunday Morning. The food was great and we added an omelette station.

The bridal suite was perfect for us. The bed was covered in rose petals and so was the jacuzzi! They left champagne and chocolates in the room too! My only complaint is the location. Its the very first room you pass as you go to the other rooms on the first floor. Honestly though...we didn't hear any noise from outside the room.



Ketubah - www.mpartworks.com (A)

i loved the very non-traditional ketubahs on this website. We selected vows and had them put on the ketubah...and said them to each other during the ceremony.

Rehearsal Dinner: Per Un'Angelos in Wantagh (A)

Authentic Italian food, atmosphere and service. We loved everything about the restaurant. We had our own room and the tables were arranged in a U shape. There were 30 of us and it was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves.
