SWAN CLUB BRIDES!! (Flowers at the Ceremony area)

Hey ladies,

I need some help. I’m having my ceremony in the green house thing at the swan club, but I’m not sure now if I want the flower arch anymore. I had originally order a pink and green flower arch for the ceremony area and now I’m second guessing. I was thinking of maybe removing the arch and just get the natural sun light from the door and maybe a little glass jar of flowers for the table where we have the candles.

I was thinking about using the money for the arch $400.00 and put it towards to some pink lighting around the reception room instead.

What do you girls think??

Thank you!!

i love pink lighting, its what I am doing in my RH....i think it could possibly be more dramatic than the arch, this is just my general opinion since I have't actually seen the place.

Re: SWAN CLUB BRIDES!! (Flowers at the Ceremony area)

I'm using the $400 arch...mostly because we need a chuppah and that price is REALLY good. We asked our florist what they could do for that price and they said to go with what the SC gives you since it's really worth it.

But if you don't want an arch at all...don't have one!

Re: SWAN CLUB BRIDES!! (Flowers at the Ceremony area)

I've seen reviews with no arch at the swan club in the carriage house and I didn't think it looked like it was missing anything. I asked my florist to add two stand alone pieces that they will then move into the reception room, but when I went to the swan club showcase a few weeks ago and saw the arch, I sort of liked it and thought it made it look a little nicer, so basically I'm of no help b/c I'm still unsure.

Re: SWAN CLUB BRIDES!! (Flowers at the Ceremony area)

i thought that area actually needed the flowers in there to spruce it up... thats why i had it added to the contract until i found out my ceremony was really outside on the patio and i really dont need the extra flowers out there

figure out whats more important to you... the lighting would add a nice ambiance to the room that everyone is in for 4 hrs as oppossed to flowers that are there for 1/2 hr

Re: SWAN CLUB BRIDES!! (Flowers at the Ceremony area)

Hey Everyone-
I'm an April 26th Bride... Do you know if we can have the florist change the colors of the arch.. It's so green... that's my only concern.. also if i didn't use their arch.. how much do they usually run?

I'm guessing a lot.

We asked our florist how much she would charge for it and she basically said, 'A LOT more!' She said that the SC flower deal is really a bargain (I'm guessing this is probably because multiple brides use it on the same day).

Re: SWAN CLUB BRIDES!! (Flowers at the Ceremony area)

If you don't use the Swan club Arch (it will only be $400 to use that room.

RIght now I'm doing a pink and green flowers arch for $375 from flower Michele. SO that gives you an idea.. On how much I'll be.

But I think I'm not going to have one at all, since it might look too busy...
