Oksana girls

What kind of makeup did she use? Do you think she does mineral makeup or anything like that? I'm having a trial w/Jenn and I figured why not try out Oksana also, but I'm super scared for my allergies.

she uses regular makeup.. I believe she used MAC products for my trial

Hi!

I had a trial with Oksana. She is awesome! But she uses the 'real deal' with her makeup. I must say that it did not feel heavy or 'caked' on at all and I have very sensitive acne prone skin. I am almost positive that she does not use mineral makeup since she told me that her makeup is the real stuff after I warned her about my skin sensitivity.

Hm, thats a good idea. When I hear from her maybe I'll discuss or just have her come for my girls and stick w/the girl from bare minerals who is supposed to do my makeup.

when I had my make up trial I told the differnt artists that I had sensitive skin. There are 3 specific ingrediants in most non sensitive make ups I absolutely cannot use.

It would be a great idea to tell your make up artist of your allergies and some of the things you have used that caused you to break out.

The last trial I had, i booked with the artist. She used a regular all natural make up and applied it with fan brushes to my skin. The make up stayed on all day, I slept with it on to see how it would hold up and the make up was still on my face except for the eyeliner which smudged a little.

ETA: All the make up she used was Mac

I have no idea what I'm allergic to, but I suspect that it is chromium. I cannot wear blue/gray/black colored makeup - even the mineral or hypoallergenic brands. I don't just break out - my eyes SWELL SHUT. My whole face swells up for a few days! Its a scary thing to see, and I dont want my face swelling 1/2 through my reception. Oddly I can wear the cheapest crappy brands of makeup so long as they're beige/brown/pink. Its very strange. I think chromium is the culprit b/c years ago I tried a diet pill that contained it and my joints all swelled up badly AND once my hairdresser put a shine serum on my hair and my eyes swelled shut. Its lovely! I'm so scared to wear anything!

PS - I only develped these allergies when I was 25. Prior to that I could (and did) wear every kind of makeup ever without issue!

WOW, thats crazy! I would suspect if you tell your artist that perhaps she/he can create some liners for you with natural colors with no preservatives.

Years ago my best friends mother had similar allergies to you that started in her 30's. She was so frustrated she had eyeliner tattooed to her eyes.

She does not use mineral makeup bc when she asked what I use normally i told her B.E. and she was asking me ?? about it. Ask her though---shes just about the coolest biatch in the world and I love her to pieces!

yeah, i know how you feel. I am taking a non drowsy antihistamine that day anyway bc i don't want a repeat of my sisters wedding.....i broke out in head to toe hives and lost my hearing bc my ear canals swelled up!!!! it was horrifying!!!! Bare Minerals and Oksanas stuff is the only stuff i havent really ever reacted to. I don't think she used Mac on me bc i told her it's a no go. I get really irritated around my lips and eyes if i use it
