Question for girls renting or looking at apartments

Could you explain to me the process of meeting with a complex? What kind of information they ask of you and what I will need handy? Fh is making all the appointments and Im along for the ride. I just know its going to stink since im on medical leave. I just want to be prepared what they will ask of us. Posted on here of FM is fine

It probably depends on where you go. FH and I have to fill out applications with income info. bank info. (checking/savings acct numbers) ss#, years at past address, reason for leaving, etc. It was almost a year ago so I dont really remember completely- but along those lines!

let's see, it was like 4 yrs ago, but....
they asked where we worked, and for how long, and they ran a credit report before accepting us. our credit wasn't great at the time, and i'm SURE some of my neighbors' credit is even worse, so i don't think they're too strict--not like getting a loan or mortgage.
they also asked where we lived before (both with parents).
it took about 3-4 days to run the credit report and call us w/an acceptance.
i think that's about it. don't stress it. i think they just wanna make sure you have some income and aren't waaay in debt.
