Ok, Moms, with all the moving some of us have done, I thought I'd start a thread of moving tips for the young'uns!!

1. Don't always trust that an apt., etc. has been cleaned by the management. Some areas to check for eeewwww are: in the closet tracts, woodwork over doorways, under appliances, and behind closet doors, especially slatted ones.
2. Clean your dish cabinets and pantries before putting clean dishes/food away.
3.Make sure stove and frig are clean too.
4. Make a moving kit containing:
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Hand soap
Cleaning supplies
Plastic runner to protect carpet
Vacuum, broom, dustpan
Hammer
Picture hanging kit
Lightbulbs/Lamps
Step ladder
Bug/bee spray
Trash bags/Can
Scissors
Shelf liner
Metal cleaners/SOS pads
Q-TIPS, good for cleaning in crevices.
