Invite boss to shower?

Invite boss to shower?

OK, this suddenly popped into my head yesterday when I remembered I need to get my girls my list of people to invite to my shower - Do I or do I not invite my boss to the shower? The thing is, it's just me and her in the office so, I was definately planning on inviting her to the wedding. We are not what I would consider really close, but, I think she tries. She always asks me what I'm doing each weekend and often asks me how the wedding plans are going. I had not wanted to invite every female on my wedding guest list to the shower, but, it looks like it will probably be most. So what do you think?

I think it depends on your relationship w/her. I like all my coworkers and all are invited to the wedding, but I want my shower to be more intimate, so I'm not

I am with Liz....I am not inviting my co-workers, except for one, to my shower. My sister will kill me if I add one more person to the list. LOL

As far as your boss...if you are inviting alot of women other than family and close friends, then I say invite her too. JMO

I didn't invite my boss...only to the wedding. I however, am very close with other girls in the office and figured if I invited one, then I would have to invite all to the shower.

I guess if it's just her, one person doesn't make a difference and if you choose not to, simply hint that it is just family and bridal party.

Unless you are close with your boss, I don't think she should be invited to your shower.

I am not inviting mine-b/c I know I will get a shower at work. That means that for those that I invite to the wedding, they will double gift me and don't think that is fair to invite them to my shower and they give me a shower at work.

If you are really close I say go for it.
