wedding day eating...
Ok ladies! I have been doing WW and have been doing good on it. I have been pretty strict and cut out a lot of things from my diet. Therefore my stomach isn't used to this food anymore...I had my shower this past weekend and with all the excitment didn't eat much all day...couldn't really get down lunch, had some cake and then got totally neaseous. My mom thinks it was the spike in sugar....but now I don't want this to happen my wedding day! So here is my question....Do I stick with the diet i have been on that day? Or do I eat the bagels that we are bringing for breakfast for the girls and eat lunch so that my tummy is full and I don't get sick? What are you guys doing? I want to make a conscious effort to eat that day but what? I don't want any bathroom issues either!
lol any thoughts?

Me too, honestly you wont even be thinking about food so much other stuff will be going on. I would say eat whatever you feel like that day!!

Re: wedding day eating...
I hear most people don't get to eat at their own wedding. I would say eat the bagel in the morning and you can pick during the day. I know it ***** I too did WW (stopped and put way to much back on) but if I would eat to much sugar or food I would get so sick feeling b/c your stomach hasn't had this food in it and it upsets it. God luck with WW and enjoy your day (just don't make your self sick)

Exactly....you really won't even be able to concentrate on WHAT you're eating, let alone have the time to really eat at all. I ate one passed app at the CH (was too busy talking to everyone) and like 2 bites of the appetizer coures cause we were actually sitting then listening to the BM speech. Other than that I didn't eat a thing cause I was dancing or up talking the whole night. So don't even worry about it.

I would go for the bagel - im on WW Too and it will help.
Also, try having a bagel earlier in the week. TO get used to the food.

Re: wedding day eating...
I'm not worried about my diet at that point. I just don't want my stomach to act up that day. Like if i put cream cheese on my bagel (which i haven't had in months) It may affect my stomach i just don't want my stomach to act up. I guess I'll just have to go with it and try to be a little careful not to eat really greasy or milk products!!

You HAVE to eat the morning of.... Esp b/c of what happened at the shower. Actually, the week before try to eat foods like fruits/veggies/ whole grains/ nuts- stuff that won't bloat you & are are full of fiber to give you energy. Oatmeal is great to eat too if you like it.Morning of wedding I am going to have fruit & yogurt/ coffee.... Bagels for the girls and I might have a 1/2 of one depending how I feel
OH- and lots of water

try not to have cream cheese; have a protein like lox or even peanut butter. I have a bagel with peanut butter all the time instead of cream cheese.

My usual breakfasts have been of yogurt toast and coffee...so maybe stick to that in the am?? I wish i liked oatmeal. SEe my tummy doesn't handle fiber well it just makes me gassy (i am sure you all wanted to know) and bloats my system. so I'm scared to eat that too! i have a wacky tummy!
