Where can I get a marriage license in LI? I know where the city ones are but not sure those are the most convenient

Go to the Hempstead Town Hall is was quick and easy. We did it yesterday. Bring your passport and birth certificate. That is all you need.

We went to Islip town hall, very quick and easy. We need our drivers license and birth certificate. You can bring your passport, we did the lady said it was easier with our drivers license. HTH

where are you located? we went to the one in Manhasset, there was no one there. we were in and out in 15 minutes.

we did it last week. we brought our passports and drivers licenses. you need to know your mothers maiden name and where they are from if not born in us.

Omg we went to Hempstead Town Hall for ours (on Valentine's Day no less) and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes flat.

All you need is Birth Certificate, passport or your license and the $40 fee (they take cash too!)

Also you do need to know your parents names and also where they were born if not born in the USA.

nope. which was a good thing because i think it is safely hidden somewhere. i needed my birth certificate for my passport years ago.
