If you guys cannot get through THIS fight, then maybe you should have a long sit down!
This sounds like a fight that happened due to Wedding Planning Stress!!! You two need to talk to each other and figure out what the REAL problem is - Besides the DJ... Maybe it's not the DJ you are arguing about!

Its def the stress building up. I actually have been fighting with my FH too over the stupidest things. I had a huge fight over a vaccuum for god sakes. I even said to him why am I marrying you ?? LOL. I know I love him and he loves me but, I think with all the craziness going on sometimes we forget to slow down and think. I def agree that having a Dj with more experience is better than some kid. My Dj is almost 40 nad he has so much energy and knows how to get the crowd pumping. Try to sit and TALK to you FH. Try to listen to his side, and then try to explain your side. Make him understand why it is important to you. I hope everything works out!!

I think is the stress about the wedding and the most FH dont really care about the wedding but they get really anal some times (for example my FH say that he get to choose the DJ that is all he is asking to plan so I am ok and I trust him the same way he is trusting me with all the other decision). I think you should let him cool down and talk to him about everything, maybe there is something else going on that he hasnt tell you (work or family problems) and that make him explode that way. Tell him how you feel about everything and maybe there is something else going on between you guys and that is why you guys are arguing over anything wedding related (maybe a previuos argument not resolved or something like that). The main thing is to sit down and talk without interrruption and about everything. Good luck and be patient, mostlikely is wedding stress

Honestly I dont think its something to want to leave your FH for and not marry him...There are going to be bigger more powerful situations that are going to come up in your life with your FH. You have to get over the little things inorder to get over the bigger things life might have in store for you. I understand you are upset but honestly dont sweat it ...talk to your FH rationally and I am sure you can come to a decision HTH

my husband and I had a couple wedding stress fights. And now we think back to them and realize how dumb they were. Its JUST a DJ. maybe look into someone else? Maybe get an american DJ and have a friend do the Korean stuff.

You guys will get over this and forget about it. Just take a deep breath and realize its not that important in the long run. What is important is if you make eachother happy.

first of and more to you.....

I know its hard to fight with FH. Its the last thing you want during this time that should be a happy time. But I don't think you should call off the wedding because of this fight.

Finding vendors is hard. I agree with you that I would want a DJ with more expereince and an 18 year old DJ might make me worries. I would suggest that you approach this problem again when you are both calm. FH gets the same way.. when he is mad he is not rational and he can't talk to me. I take it and we both go our own way and talk about it when we are both calm.

You will find all your vendors. But I think its important to have a talk with FH and tell him how you feel. I would try to use the "I feel this or I feel that" technique.

it's definetly the stress.. take a breather.. FH and I had our fair share of 'opinions'.. the occasional weekend we used to get, we spent it doing wedding stuff and it got bad.. so we went out and declared it wedding free day to bring back our sanity.. don't worry.. i'm sure your FH feels bad too..

I agree with everyone else. This is wedding stress... and it sounds like your FH actually does care about the wedding because he has an opinion and wants input.

From what you told me vendor A does sound better, but hopefully you can figure out something that will make you both happy.

look honestly fights happen...your relationship wouldnt be normal if you didnt fight. There are times when FH will look at me and tell me flat out shut up or drop it and thats that. I will be soooo pissed but you know what thats way he is and thats the way I am in 5 mins or the next day its funny. Your probably just stressed...you will work it out.

Like everyone else said, it is just stress building up inside you. Trust me, i know... FH and I almost had a fight last night about the type of wine glasses to register for!!!! Things do get tense, but it will be ok.... don't worry about it.

i also dont think its anything to cancel a wedding about. The truth is that throughout your whole life with him, you will have a difference of opinion just like this. You can't always agree on everything, would be nice but doesn't happen. The truth is that for whatever reason he liked dj company B, and he has the right to like them more. Theres been quite a few times ill like something and FH will hate it and vice versa. Nothing to be upset about, but this will be the case with anybody in our lives.

What you need to do is learn to accept that you are 2 different people, with different opinions.

I think its just the wedding stress, just sit down and talk calmly about the DJ's, each of you say your pros and cons and actually listen to eachother about why you prefer one over the other.

Maybe you can get a regular DJ and hire a Korean interpreter. If you go with a friend, maybe someone you know that you weren't going to invite, you might have a better chance at spending less but getting someone very animated ... ?

Maybe you can get a regular DJ and hire a Korean interpreter. If you go with a friend, maybe someone you know that you weren't going to invite, you might have a better chance at spending less but getting someone very animated ... ?
