Re: Question/Vent of the Day

YES!!!!!! Although I LOVE kids, I feel that is inappropriate to have a kid or kids running around in many places. I also hate when I go for coffee at Dunkin' Donuts and there are mothers sitting there yapping while their kids run wild like animals, yelling and throwing things. Unruly children are so nauseating!

Re: Question/Vent of the Day

It always makes me laugh when some of you girls get SO offended by something I say! Yes, I roll my eyes at annoying kids and inattentive mothers. Its my relaxation time. My mother would NEVER have allowed me to act like a little demon, and in a public place no less! But I think thats whats wrong with our society. Kids can do no wrong, and parents defend their children regardless of their behavior, etc.

Wear head phones/ipod to drown out any annoying sounds. I personally love to hear the sounds of children playing. There is nothing more precious in the world. I hope someday you will see what I mean.

Go to a playground then. not a nail salon.

Re: Question/Vent of the Day

I *know* I'm going to get attacked for this... but... if you don't have $10 to pay a sitter, maybe you shouldnt be getting your nails done? I think suddenly we feel entitled to have services like this, but I can bet that when our parents and grandparents got married, if they were struggling to pay for things, they certainly weren't out getting pedicures and buying handbags when they weren't sure if they could pay the grocery bill.

Re: Question/Vent of the Day

I think a lot of people live outside their means and still want to get all those those things done they cant maybe afford at the moment,. Hey I am one of those people, but I would not be willing to inconvience and disrupt someone elses personal time because I dont have a sitter.

Re: Question/Vent of the Day

I personally find nothing wrong with a mother bringing her daughter to get her nails done- but ONLY if she is able to behave. I will definately bring my daughter (if I have one) someday, and I feel it's a great bonding experience, and most little girls LOVE to do it.
