I think they have finally picked my engagement party place

My parents are throwing us an engagement party in april a year from our wedding (and a year from our engagement) they were planning on Panama Hatties but because of some issues they changed their mind (FM me if you want details) and now it will be at STRESA!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo excited

I am so excited we have the whole restaurant from 12-4 with a cocktail hour and then a seated 4 course meal!!! I have never been there but everyone tells me it is really pretty. It is on NorthernBlvd near L & T in manhasset

If I am thinking of the right place (Stresa), it is sooo pretty! My E-Party is going to be on my sister's deck on June 21st! It is going to be an evening cocktail party under a white tent with lots of candles. I hope it looks as pretty as I am envisioning it!

My parents wanted to have it at their home with a harpist and sit down dinner but they could accomadate like 25-30 but not the 50 we wanted to invite. The tent sounds gorgeous. Because my parents live on a corner most of their land is in the front so they don't have as much room -they were thinking of putting it off and opening the french doors and having inside and out but we could not do it later b/c it is when my FH will be in town and it will be too cold to do it in april so they picked this place.
