Still considering Day-After pics...need dress opinions! (w/ pics)

So we've (okay, okay..I'VE) been wanting to do after-wedding portraits (a 'day-after' session), for our 1 yr anniv. Just thought it would be fun. We are in LOVE w/ our wedding-day pics, but due to the time constraints, my mobility issues/energy level, we weren't really able to set up all of the types of portraits of us that we'd love to have. I'm thinking that if we aren't as limited with time and I can save up my energy for just this session that day, we can get some more great photos! There is an AMAZING photog here in the Phili area we're going to book very soon (if I don't come to my senses and realize I'm ridiculous for wanting to do this right now, lol).

I just wanted to get some feedback on dress ideas. I really don't want to wear my dress again, for several reasons (its kinda heavy, id like to try a different look, don't think ill fit in it and don't wanna try!!!

, etc). I think I want to go with a beachy/destination-wedding-type-of-dress. DH will be wearing his tan suit. We want a laidback, more casual feel. The photog mentioned wanting to do a rustic, natural style session.

First, does anyone have suggestions for what stores/websites I should look at for dresses like this? (def not looking for another expensive wedding dress, this is more for fun, just light beachy dress).

Second, what do you girls think of these dresses I came across?

long silk dress- not sure this one would be too kind to my curves- i've gained like 10 lbs since wedding

BCBG MaxAzria strapless crinkle satin- love this one but not sure about sizing

Stretch Mesh Gown- like last one, not sure about sizing

super casual beach dress- not sure i want to go THIS casual

I LOVE the first & the last dress. To me, they look the most like wedding dresses.

i like the last one..

try jessica mcclintok (sp??) they have her dresses in white/ivory sometimes at macy's if there is no store near you.. calvin klein tends to make flowy white dresses too..

Jess make sure to try them on. I LOVE Chiffon but certain gowns aren't forgiving. It hs to have a stiffer underpinning. I really wnated a chiffon gown for the wedding but evrythign I tried on was too flowy beneath so it clung badly.

But I tried on chiffon BM dresses that wre fine cause beneath it was stiffer.

both 2nd and last remind me of my second gown. It was very Grecian looking. However the bodice was very stiff

If you could try on prior purchase I d say that would be a safe bet.

thx for the input ladies!!!

im definitely going to try to try on before buying if thats a possibility, but with a majority it seems that they are only available online so it would be order, try on, return, try next one type of thing which i know can be an issue..a pain in the butt. we'll see.

the main thing is that i want a flow-y dress but i am not crazy about my current weight and i do need something that is still 'forgiving.' nothing too clingy!
