A lot of girls here recommended Bonaventure and that's where we ended up going and getting the guy tuxes. So far they've been great there and there is a large selection that the guys can try on!

They are in Garden City on Franklin Avenue.

We also went to Bonaventure in Garden City. They don't have a huge selection, but there are about 6 or 8 different tuxes to choose from. We're going on Friday to pick them up so I'll let you know how everything turns out.

My husband got his at Victor Talbots in Greenvale (where they filmed the tuxedo shopping scene in Meet The Parents) and was very impressed with the service he got. He is picky and said that he tried on many tuxes there before he found one he liked.

I second Bonaventure. I didn't got, but that is where FH is going. He also went to After Hours in Roosevelt Field mall and they wouldn't let him try on - Its seems preet weird to me, but whatever

Greenvale is on the North Shore... the store in on Glen Cover Road (106) on the way to Glen Cove. Once you go over Norhter Blvd it is about 1/4 mile down on the left side.

Liz- I know you're using All Star Limos and next to them is a tux place - I think it's GINOs- they are related to the people who own All Star-they were going to let FH try on but we thought it was too soon -but the young lady who helped us was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet and nice and helpful!! I forget her name!! But definetely check them out!

Liz, another option ..

Elite Tuxedos in Westbury .... right across from fortunoff's ... near CB. We used them & they were terrific. They ordered us a special vest that I liked and saw in another shop & didn't even charge us.
