DIY Silk Roses

Ok, so I'm super-excited that I finally figured out how to make silk roses to stuff with candy. I was planning on putting M&Ms and Mints in them...of corse not both in the same one LOL. But...when I have them together...the look amazing empty, but once I put things in them, the droop and sag a bit. Anyone have any suggestions how to make this work...?? I reeeealy want to do this, but I don't want the guests thinking they are picking up a dead heavy rose!!! Please help...ANY suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!! TIA!!

Oh, I forgot...pics are in my album 'wedding things done so far..'

Re: DIY Silk Roses

I'd stick with something like a lollipop....it's on a stick, won't droop,, but when you wrap the stem it will come out wider.

Re: DIY Silk Roses

That's an AWESOME idea! I didnt think of that! THANKS sooo mcuh! I'm gonna pick up lolipops tomorrow now and play around with it! THANKS!

A few people I know offered instead of candy to get flower seeds and just give them out as another favor with a little peom attached. Still up in the air...but the lollipop idea is sooo cute! THANKS!
