Are you wearing your ering and wedding band on hm???

I still haven't decided..I want to wear the real set because of the meaning they have (and its stupid to wear my wedding band for 2 days...only to take it off before the hm) but at the same time I don't want to bring them and risk losing them..what did/are you girls doing? And where could I get a fake set??? tia

I'm wearing the real set... Thats what insurance is for (don't get me wrong, i'd be devistated to lose them, but i also don't want to be with out them).

I'm not, however, going to anywhere where i'd be swimming/scuba/snorkeling, etc. That could make a difference for some people.

see im going to french polynesia for my hm...and the whole place is a beach!!! thats what gets me nervous!

I wore mine, it was important to me to have them. I also didn't go somewhere where that I was doing watersports. When I did go to the beach I put them in the hotel safe.

Well I had a fake set & the real band on the honey moon. (I didn't want to risk my engagement ring stone though).

To be honest the fake set was barely distinguishable from the real. & the beach, sand water pool etc, wore out my ring polish alittle. So I should have worn the fake set the whole time.
Now I want to go & get my rings re polished to get that shine back to the band.

I wore mine and they were fine. I wore them in the pool and everything, don't worry about it.

i wore mine; they fit me REALLY well and I had no issues. I never take them off except for the gym so I wear them to the beach, pool, etc. You'll be fine. Just think in 20 years or so when you take a beach vacation do you think you'll even consider a fake set?

I don't want to have to worry baout my rings when I'm on vacation, so I bought a fake set (band and engagement ring) from inspiredsilver.com...search online for a coupon if you order, I used a coupon and got the band and e-ring (with CZ) plus S&H for a total of $42

I really wanted to but me and FH are going to Antigua and in light of recent events there he doens't want me to take them! I'm going to feel so weird without them!

I just wore my wedding band...left the e-ring home. I didnt want to have to worry about it, since I take it off every night.

I bought a fake set, and I was really glad I did. Being on the beach and stuff, I constantly had lotions, oils, sand, etc. all over my hands and inside the rings and everything. I know some people have a hard time parting with them, but listen you know you're married and that's what counts, haha! My fake set was like $15 from Macy's, but I've also seen them at Kohl's and JC Penney's and they look very nice.

I hate taking mine off for any amount of time. I think I'm going to wear both. I've worn my engagement ring on vaca before and just locked it up when I was at the pool. I'm glad I brought it, I feel naked without it anymore.

I wore my real rings on my HM. I left them in the safe while we were in St. Lucia and while we were on the cruise.
I actually have a fake set too...we bought the fake ering when we got engaged in Vegas bc it wasn't insured. I wanted to have my real set with me.

i wore the plain band i got married in - not the e-ring or diamond band - i left those at home

i did feel naked without them though

On September 12th, when FH puts my wedding band on my left ring finger I will never take it off!
(except to do those dishes!!..lol) So yes I will be wearing both my engagement ring and WEdding band. My rings are so precious to me!!! I am honored to become his wife!
