My experience with La Bellezza Salon in Rockville Centre

Well at first this place seemed great- they opened up very early for my friend's wedding, put a sign on the door for us, had mini muffins and coffee set up... ok great.

But we were SO unsatisfied with our updos. The woman literally put my hair in a ponytail and curled it. I asked for the 'Eva Longoria' poof look- you know what I mean- it's a popular look right now. NONE of them knew what that meant. I tried to find a picture but all the books looked like they were from the 80s and 90s! The woman who did my hair was old and her idea of a poof was a really loose high ponytail... she literally used a RUBBER BAND and put my hair in a ponytail and curled it! Like are you KIDDING ME??? I could've done that myself and it would look better.

Another bridesmaid asked for a side french braid with curled ends- they gave her like a side BUN.
She also had barettes she wanted in her hair and the woman who styled her hair said 'Oh you want those in your hair' and then turned to another girl and said 'Thank GOD only 1 girl brought something to put in her hair'

Another bridesmaid asked for 1/2 up and they put it all up. another one had an off centered updo, another one was 1/2 up and curly but the 1/2 up part was just a section of hair with 2 bobby pins in it

They also charged $100 for each updo! SO not worth it

And they asked the bride where she was going on her honeymoon (She's doing an Alaskan cruise) And they were like 'ALASKA?! Are you serious?!' totally mocking her honeymoon choice.

RUDE, OVERPRICED, and SO can't do hair....

UGH! They sound horrible! I live near there but still travel back to the North Shore to get even a trim. There are so many awful ones out there, I don't want to risk anything. Thanks for the info though - I'll cross them off the emergency local hair place list!
