Ok ladies here it is:
Date: Sunday October 4, 2009
Time: 12-4
Place: Wicker's Restaurant, Hicksville
Price: $42.00
Price Includes: Appetizer, 3 Entrée Options, Dessert, Occasion Cake, Tax, Tip Maitre’D Tip, Soda, Unlimited Beer & Wine.
As of right now, this shower is ONLY open to 2010 Brides. If for some reason, we do not hit our 60 guarantee minimum, we will open it up for you to bring one female guest. THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO THE FIRST 65 GIRLS.
We organized a committee to help with the planning. Of course, all ladies are encouraged to offer suggestions. Our 2010 Bridal Shower Committee is: Teri (T E R I) Vanessa (Goldie39) Gaby (Rocketsummer17), Alyssa79, Colleen (Summerbride10) Janna (eternitybride) and myself Christine (stinenandy2010)
We are asking for ladies to pay in full now. It is easier this way because then a few months before you don’t have to worry about sending money again and it makes it easier for us as well. Please send money via PAYPAL to [email protected]. For those of you unfamiliar with PayPal, it is a free way of sending money and it’s secure. I believe it’s the easiest option. Create an account then click send money, it will ask to enter the recipient’s email address, enter [email protected]. PLEASE ENTER YOUR LIW USER NAME, NAME & WEDDING DATE so we can properly identify you as paid.
VERY IMPORTANT: Once you pay, that’s it. There are no refunds. It is not fair to me nor you to keep giving and taking money. If for some reason you decide not to come after you are paid, please make every effort to find a girl to take your place, this way you will get your money back.
Now you might be wondering what you do at this Bridal Shower.
1) Down the road you will be asked if you would like to do “Secret Bride”. You will be assigned a bride-to-be and get her something off her registry. There will be a price limit. You do not have to participate if you do not want to.
2) GIVEAWAYS!!!!!!!!!
3) It’s a nice time to just chat with fellow brides and celebrate our upcoming weddings!!!!

VERY IMPORTANT: If you cannot committ now that is fine, wait till you know your schedule. There are no refunds. If something comes up and you are paid, then contact me and when someone wants to pay for a new spot, I will have them pay you instead, if it works out but there are no guarantees. It works better this way for me bc then I am not taking and giving money all the time.
Paypal Instructions
1) Click Create New Account (right under sign-in information)
2) Click Create Personal Account
3) Enter information (such as email, name, address, etc.)
4) Click agree and create account button at end.
5) Click either pay with bank account or pay with credit card
6) Enter that information
a. If you choose pay with bank account, they will make two small deposits in your account within a few days, then you log back in to verify. When you send money, it is deposited into the senders account immediately.
b. If you choose pay with credit card, you can send money immediately but it takes a few days to clear. It will take a few days for it to show on your CC statement.
7) Click send money, enter my email address (on official thread) and in the comment box, write your name, liw name and wedding date.
8) Click send.

We decided to have a little committee, nothing major. It was just easier to have a small group of girls plan everything. I am good but sometimes I need some help! haha!

Also, a long ways from now, we will be asking possibly 10 dollars extra for decorations and such. There's a lot in the works right now and we will keep you updated. There's just one problem...WE NEED ALL OF YOUR HELP
I will sending posting a thread shortly about a possible color schemes for the shower, a bit early ya think
but I would like to \design an Invitation email and newsletter for persons who have paid, and (yes some women have already paid
) so I am going to need colors and ideas!

Unfortunately, I am completely unavailable September 27 of 09. I am part of a group that does a festival the last sunday of September in Manhattan at Fort Tryon Park, as the PR officer and Vice President of the chapter I am required to be there.

Just wanted to add, that someone on the committee could contact a florist to see if they will do any centerpieces that we give away to a few of the girls.. I think in the past girls have been able to get this.
