does your DH take off his ring and play with it? did you insure it?

i understand he's not used to wearing a ring, and he used to spin it around and around on his finger, but i just caught him spinning it around like a coin on his desk, and then tossing it up in the air!!!

i just think its a bad habit to get into (taking it off, playing with it) and i dont want him to lose it!

did you insure your wedding band and your DH's? its really more sentimental than extravagant in cost... but right now only my e-ring is insured...

Im sorry but I can just picture that...ok, on a more serious note. My DH doesnt do that..but if he did I would slap him lol.. I have you ever seen that episode of Everybody loves Raymond where hes doing that with his bro Robert and the rainn falls down a drain lol... anyway..i would advise him not to do that anymore..give him a quarter instead

He takes his ring off ALLLLL the time! It's so annoying. And yeah he spins it on the table as well. I don't think we insured it, it's not all that valuable monetarily, might be covered under our insurance though, but yeah I just wish he would stop...

I JUST LOST MY WEDDING BAND! This was NOT insured I am currently right now at the office looking all over for it. I just had to take a minute and site down

so answer the Q . No my hub has no insurance on his ring it is Titanium and not that expensive.. my E ring has insurance THANK GOD!

Dh doesn't wear his ring 24/7...he takes it off to sleep. He actually forgot to wear it to work a couple of times!!!! So no he doesn't play with it but how can he when he's not wearing it... We haven't insured it (or mine) yet.

my DH doesn't, but this reminds me of an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Ray loves to spin his ring, and he goes to the bathroom and Robert winds up spinning it into the vent in their hotel room.....not good! you should definitely make your DH watch this episode, even if you guys don't watch this show he will definitely be able to relate!!!

My DH takes off his ring as soon as he comes into the house... he never wears it at home. Kinda bothers me a little but he does always put it on before he leaves the house so I guess I can't really get mad. I know he's still getting used to wearing it... not to mention it's slightly too big on him and he needs to get it resized. He can slide it off with only his thumb! Not good!!!!

Our weddings bands aren't insured yet... only my e-ring. We need to get on that!

dh can't even wear his during the week because he works in heavy construction and it would get destroyed/lost/get caught on a machine and he could actually loose his finger

so he forgets to put it on on the weekends because he 's not used to wearing it. that irks me!!

So glad to read this!!! DH does that ALLLLLLLLL the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spins it on the coffee table... and lost it for 5 days once!!! He put it in his gym bag to go work out after work (Not sure why he needed to take it off for the gym... but anyway...) he went to put it back on after and couldn't find it anywhere!!! Finally found it 5 days later while doing laundry! Must have gotten mixed up with his laundry in his gym bag! haha

ETA*** DH's ring is not insured. Much more sentimental attachment than financial attachment. Both of my rings are insured.

Mine must be the only on that doesnt.
He practically never takes it off, but its titanium so he doesnt even know its on.

I will say that spinning it on the table is pretty funny DHs ring is not insured, if he loses it we can replace it so it wasnt worth insuring it.

my DH sleeps and showers with his ring -- it's always on his finger except when he PLAYS with it.

My dh wears his ring all the time....he even wears it to bed. He wakes up the next morning and makes me get out so he can search for it...cuz it fell off while he was sleeping...its really cute. Dh also wears it in the ocean/pool/wears it while washing dishes and even mixes meatloaf mix with it on. He Never takes it off and NO its NOT insured. If he loses it ( I pray he doesnt ) we will just bless another ring...no biggie.

He played with it for about 4 days when at the pool at our resort, he shook his hand and the ring came off and went rolling towards the pool edge. I lept off the chair and saved it before it took a dunk. I was ready to kill him right then and there. It's been glued on his finger ever since.

Oh this drives me nuts!!! He spins it on the table like it's a quarter! When we are out to dinner he does it all the time. It drives me crazy! I told him if he loses it he's dead! especially if he lost it being dumb..lol No the ring isn't insured....probably dangerous!
