Moving Announcements-are they worth my time?

So, as many of you lovely ladies know, I am moving to sunny Boca Raton in November

I have so many friends and family up here and I was wondering if I should mail out cute personalized cards so that everyone has our new address.

Any thoughts/ideas where to get cute ones?

TIA!

Re: Moving Announcements-are they worth my time?

Definitely would send them! Depending on when we move (could be around Christmas, and if so, we'll put something in our cards), we'll send out announcements. Our lives have been centered around here for so long now, that we want folks to know we're moving to some place (and something) new!

Re: Moving Announcements-are they worth my time?

they are so easy to design/print. I did a single panel card 4 up on a 8.5 x 11 sheet and a quick cut and put into a regular invite enve. I love them honestly, i do emails first to save on paper but if i don't have a email i send them a card.

Re: Moving Announcements-are they worth my time?

I think you should send them out. We did when we moved and it saved alot of grief when it came to people sending us mail.

I wouldnt do anything crazy just simple since you know you will be sending a ton of them.
