MDA Labor Day Telethon...

Hey ladies!!

Living with Muscular Dystrophy, this is an important time of the year for me, my family, and all of my friends who also have MD, millions of others worldwide too...so I wanted to post a little reminder that the 43rd annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon has officially started and will be running all day tomorrow. So please tune in. Even if its just briefly. There are so many reasons to- whether it be just learning about what MD is, hearing the stories of those who live with it, learning about the latest research, or for the entertainers. If you're unsure what channel the telethon is on near you, check HERE

And please donate if you can!!! There are a number of ways to donate! You are not limited to calling only during the telethon when they provide you with the number on screen. You can donate anytime by phone: 1800FIGHTMD (18003444863) or online HERE!

And if youre not able to donate, your prayers are just as important, for hope for a cure and strength for the millions of people and families affected!

For anyone who isn't familiar with MDA, the telethon raises funds for MDA’s programs of research, services and education for children and adults affected by any of more than 40 diseases in MDA’s program. Telethon pledges go towards flu shots, research, support group sessions, physical/occupational therapy, sending children to MDA summer camp, and assistive technology like wheelchairs, etc.

but that is maybe b/c I didn't stalk the boards during wedding planning.

i actually didn't know this either.

i do recall you mentioning mobility issues.

b/c I didn't know. I wouldn't read into that... That is why I gave the blush face.

That is something that some would be beat down by - you don't seem that way at all.

That is something that some would be beat down by - you don't seem that way at all.

i understand what youre saying but i feel like..no reason to be beat down, esp when you see all these lil ones who are living with it and are so positive and even struggling so much worst than me. i truly just feel really thankful and blessed. so many things to be thankfu lfor. and faith alone has really carried me through every struggle. and hopefully we can find a cure someday soon. that would be so awesome!!! it sounds like, from these research updates, we're really close to some break throughs! very exciting.
