I'm getting married on the Friday before Spring Break (ours is the week before Easter weekend) . I'm planning on taking off at least Thurs and Fri- maybe Wednesday too? But since we have break I don't need any other days off..check your contract. In ours it says that we need to personally request the days from the superintendant because they are before a break. You may need to do the same due to the number in a row.

I got married during the first Sunday of the April break. I took the Friday before off and the Monday we got back because of family.

For me, it was a little bit different. Because I'll be moving after the wedding, I won't be taking off at all, I'll just be leaving. So I don't really have to worry about 'taking off. lol. But if I WAS sticking around, i'd probably be taking off the entire week of the wedding, or at least most of it. And then still give myself a day or two before returning to work after i get home from the honeymoon. I've done it where I go back to work the very next morning after flying in from vacation the night before and that *****! Don't do it.
