I said I was going to give people a week after the RSVP date to start calling, but within that week I received all of the remaining RSVP's, so I didn't have to call anyone.

We waited a few days after the date. Then I sent an email to a few close friends/family members that I knew I could do this with. The others straggled in and my mom called a few.

don't feel bad - i'm 5 days passed the deadline and still have 90 response cards that need to come back (that's 180 people!)

I know how you feel! I felt the same way..I gave them past the rsvp day and made 1 call..if they didn't call back that was it!!!!

I gave them a week. Still some of them haven't responded to that. UGH, If they don't respond by the end of the weekend I am putting them down as not coming.

I would figure out when you need to came the final payment. If it's the first week of OCt? then I would give them 2 more weeks & then call.

I would start calling and emailing now. It's sad that even with a stamp on the damn thing people find it hard to respond on or before the due date.

Im not even waiting a week. My date was yesterday.. I emailed a friend today and Im giving my FMIL names of people tonight. FH is going to call his friends Monday.
I only had two people from my side not respond. FH has 40!!!

I was just going to ask this question!!! My RSVP date was the 1st of the month...I am going to give it this week and than I am officially calling (ok a little lie I made my mother start calling her friends bc she is my mom and I can!). I know I have some time but I don't have time to start figuring out my seating chart the day before the wedding :)...this is what pushes me over the edge. I forget who wrote the RSVP Poem on here, but it should be put into each envelope for people to read!

i'm going to start calling sat. i'll make my mom call her friends and feel them out. only have about 20 out but that's still a lot and the wedding is in about 2 weeks.

Start calling now and don't put them down as not coming. I did that with one of my RSVP's because I called/emailed, etc and they never responded. Guess who showed up at the wedding....

ugh I hear ya, my RSVP date is 8 days away and HALF MY FREAKING BRIDAL PARTY hasnt bothered to send the RSVP, not to mention our families ....

we are missing about 115
