Helen's wedding with PICS
Yesterday was helen's wedding and had such an amazing time. Got to the hotel around 3pm to check in then went upstairs to helen's suite while she got ready. She looked absolutely gorgeous, i had pics from her getting ready but i gave the camera to dh to take pics of the ceremony and card was full so he deleted all previous pics not knowing i took pics in the suite. Her ceremony and reception were at the hotel we were staying in so after we just went downstairs and hung out in the bridal suite a bit then went to take pics on the grounds of the hotel. Then back in the bridal suite for a while. Ceremony started at 7:30pm, it was a beautiful ceremony, so happy for the two of them. DH said that she did exactly what i did and was looking all around during the ceremony hahaha meanwhile her now DH was just staring right at her, it was sweet how he was looking at her, you could see it on his face how in love he is. Helen looked AMAZING, i LOOVED her hair, i wish i had better pics of it, her dress was stunning too.
Ill give a review of nicotra's since i was asked.
After we went straight to CH and the bp went in first and d*mn we were so hungry we ran to the food hahaha. I didnt eat all day so i had 2 plates of food. I had the fried calamari which was so good, mussels and clams which were also great. Had a zuppe de pesci which was awesome. The pork with the gravy was delicious and so was the penne. DH had the tortellini in a cream type sauce and he LOOOVED it and even went back to get a 2nd plate of it, even today he was talking about it and saying how delicious it was lol. The first half of the CH helen and radu ate together in the bridal suite. I went in the bridal suite to get my bag, it was cool bc they had a plasma screen in the room and were able to watch people in the ch room. They also had a bunch of plates in front of them with SOOO much food and of course i started picking at it. There were stations i missed inside the CH room so i got excited seeing it on their plates, i had coconut shrimp, mini spinach pies, mini chicken fingers, mini rice balls and all were delicious.
Helen's bridal attendant i have to say was so amazing. She was there all day with Helen, even upstairs in helens suite when she was getting ready and she was on top of everything. MOH needed bobby pins she pulled them out of her pocket, other people needed things and she had it on her and if she didnt she ran to get it. She was up and down coordinating everything, going between helens room and her dh's room, coordinating the times for their reveal and making sure everything was running smoothly. That woman was on top of everything. Kim if you have her next week for your wedding, her name is jen then you have nothing to worry about because she went above and beyond. The whole staff was great, the banquet manager came upstairs while helen was getting ready to make sure everything was going well. When helen got back to her room at the end of the night they had thrown rose petals everywhere, had a bottle of champagne waiting for them, and they even gave them a real nice gift basket. Mr. and Mrs coffee mugs, lenox photo frame, 3 photo albums, and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember haha.
During reception we had lobster bisque which was so good. The salad was real good too and for main entree i had the filet mignon with mushrooms, onions in a red wine sauce i think it was, the sauce was delicious, and everything was great, the potato croquette was awesome and i kept saying how good it was hahaha. For dessert they gave us a tray of pastries and cookies such as rainbow cookies, pignoli cookies and a bunch of other stuff. They also gave us a plate with this chocolate type cake, it was round and it was 3 layers, light choclate dark chocolate and middle part was white and top had chocolate shavings and also 2 chocolate fruit type tarts on the side, the presentation was nice. We also were given wedding cake. The waitress at our table was great and always came around to make sure we were ok.
We had an amazing time, danced alot, alot of great funny moments throughout the day. And after the wedding we all went upstairs to the MOH and best mans(they are a couple) room to hang out even more and hung out there until about 3am.
Helens baskets for guests that stayed at the hotel were awesome. Inside them she put: mini bottle of grey goose, mini jack daniels, small bottle of red wine and small bottle of red wine, classic bottle of coke, ghiardelli bar of chocolate, big bag of potato chips, pack of gum, box of jelly belly's, M&M's, pellegrino water, ruby guava scented candle the bottom is fuschia and the lid is black and white damask pattern, mrs fields cookies and a bunch of other snacks. Plus when Dh and I checked in the front desk told us we were the "guest of the day" its something the hotel does, they pick someone and so we also received a basket of stuff from the hotel, bottled water, bags of chip, chocolates and other stuff hahaha. At first i wasnt sure if its something they do for others too but i asked everybody and nobody else got it hahahaha so i kept joking how we were the guests of the day hahahaha
So exhausted today but soon have to get ready to go to another LIW brides wedding at leonards, so tomorrow ill have a review on leonards. Me, Dh, his parents and brother are all attending the wedding of Italianbride428.
Here are some pics, my camera was acting up and taking blurry pics. Dh took pics at the ceremony but most came out blurry. Hopefully others took better pics haha

Ah, I just came on to see if you posted pictures yet. Great review! Aw, she looked beautiful!! Her dress looks soo pretty. How did she hold up...was she sobbing?  The BM dresses are so pretty...you looked great! Glad you had such a wonderful time. Congratulations to her!

yeah its hard to see bc theres the driveway to get to the place and even then we had to drive a bit down so from outside you wouldnt be able to see.

You can see how happy she was...she was glowing.
Yes, we told her she better not even try to start getting OCD bc she is VERY OCD and let everyone else handle things. At first she tried, but the banquet manager said NOPE stop i got it you better not deal with any of this just enjoy hahaha. You could tell she was on cloud 9

yea plus it was still early it was like 6 o clock
at that time we were taking pics. Actually bp and family took most of the pics around 5pm, then a little after 6 we all went back to the bridal suite, except helen and her dh they went to take pics alone so they were on the grounds. Helen told me her photographer was taking alot of different type pics, they even found a cart and her dh prenteded he was pushing helen in the cart and a bunch of other different type stuff

like i said i was there from 3pm and really got to see nicotras in action and how they handle everything. Even in between pics i saw them setting up the room. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. The staff was wonderful and so nice, and i hope you get Jen as a bridal attendant bc she seriously is amazing. Everything went smoothly and the food was all delicious, not one complaint.
