yes I do color it! I had it colored last month and I didn't like the way it came out! soooo I think am going to die it myslef because I like the color better .....
I think after I color it it will match the color from what I remember when I ordered them. when I go for the trial to see them I will make sure it matches
Are you going to see them before hand? I would try to match it as best I could

Re: ANYONE GETTING EXTENSIONS?? For the day of?
I had them, I went for a trial and the stylist matched it to my hair color...The end of the day i took it off and I used that same hair piece for the day of. The only thing I didn't like was that towards the end of the day the extensions started to straighten out. I have really curly hair so the rest of my hair was curly but the extensions started straightening out. I would bring a curling iron just in case it does that. But it did give me a lot of volume and length which I loved.

Re: ANYONE GETTING EXTENSIONS?? For the day of?
I bought 100% human hair clip-in extensions at a booth in Roosevelt Field. They were $$$$, like ridiculously $$$$ but it was last minute and I wanted them. Oh well. That said, I loved the way they looked and don't regret spending the money.

I just bought them at Classic Beauty Supply in Huntington Station (across from the Walt Whitman Mall); they were $20 and $1/clip. You should only need one pack.Good luck!

Re: ANYONE GETTING EXTENSIONS?? For the day of?
My Hair girl is actually supplying the extensions. I am getting one for the entire back (my hair is sooo thin) and then one for up top (getting a poof up top)...I actually dye my own hair at home.
I am not sure when I should dye it though cause i want to make sure when she calls me to come in to match it up it looks the best it can for that and the day of the wedding...
If you ladies had to go in to match up the hair extension how close to the wedding did you A) dye your hair B) match it up to the extension pieces?

I dyed my hair the week before the wedding, I got my extensions about the same time, but I dye my hair it's natural color, it's only to cover the grays. That said, my hair person told me that when I bought the extensions for her to put in, that if I couldn't find an exact color match, to go lighter than my hair color, NOT darker. If they are a little lighter it will blend better and look more natural. They ended up being just slightly lighter than my color and it looked awesome, like I had natural highlights.

Yeah she will be dying mine. She buys them and will dye them. I just have to go in for her to dye them... So a week before you think is good to dye my own hair like i always do.. hmm that would mean I would dye it on 10/3/08

I am using extensions, I actually had them put in already for my wedding next month. I had my hair trial last night and the extensions made such a difference. I am definitely taking them out for the honeymoon though
they take too long to dry.

Where did you decide to go for yours? They came out good but I have so much hair now
she used over 100 strands in my hair. Like I said the only annoying thing is drying them but they look really natural and I love that you can do anything with them. She is even goign to add a few more when I go for my color right before the wedding. I will post pics of my trial as soon as I upload my pics. I dont think I will have the patience to keep these in for the honeymoon though. Plus my hair is long anyway so I really wont need them.

I forget the name but it's a place that M *I* A recommended. I'm gonna do it 2 weeks before the wedding. I wanted them for the Rehearsal dinner and honeymoon, I felt like it would look really fake if my hair was different lengths for the RD and Wedding,

Thats true in that case. My hair is normally long so the only difference is the fullness. But I will have them in for the RD and wedding and will take them out the day after before I go on my honeymoon. What kind of extensions are you getting? Are they sewn in, clip in?
