im getting clip ins for the day of....they just said to come in a week or 2 before the wedding so they could match it to my color (or i could send a pic). im planning on getting my highlights 2 weeks before

Yeah mine are clip in's as well.. Yeah my hair lady said she would contact me when she needed to match them up. I have not herd from her. there is two weeks to go as of today so maybe next week? I just dont know when I should color my hair.. I wanted to do it the week of the wedding. This way its at its best! but i prob will do it the week before the wedding..

I had them, I went for a trial and the stylist matched it to my hair color...The end of the day i took it off and I used that same hair piece for the day of. The only thing I didn't like was that towards the end of the day the extensions started to straighten out. I have really curly hair so the rest of my hair was curly but the extensions started straightening out. I would bring a curling iron just in case it does that. But it did give me a lot of volume and length which I loved.

it probably wasnt 100% human hair thats why, and thats what happens. Was your real hair straight? when its not 100% human hair that will straighten out while your own hair remains curly

to answer OP, i used the clip ons and i had ALOT in my hair, more than 2 pieces haha

I am using extensions, I actually had them put in already for my wedding next month. I had my hair trial last night and the extensions made such a difference. I am definitely taking them out for the honeymoon though they take too long to dry.

thats the exact reason i didnt get real extensions for the wedding bc i didnt want to deal with that for the HM. I had real extensions before and OMG it would take FOREVER to blow dry.

i didnt have to match it, but the stylist does do this and brought it up. But with blonde hair its ALOT easier to blend it into your hair, especially since i had blonde highlights. She had pieces that matched my own hair color. But she had told me that if i had needed to match it and get them dyed it would've been 2 weeks before the wedding.

i dont know yet - i have them in my contract but since i cut my hair short i am doing a different style, ill probably need a few clip ins but not the whole set - i have small head so i dont want to look funny with so much hair

Since I am not leaving for the HM the day after my hair dresser is going to come over and take them all out before I leave for the honeymoon. Even though they look great I dont want to be dealing with extensions when I am laying out by the pool or beach in Hawaii.

i didn't... i grew out my hair for a year instead. probably would have been a lot easier to just do extensions

Yea she put them on for the trial, i took them out at night and she used the same ones for the day of. I would call, I had to wait 1 month for a trial lol.

My stylist opened the package infront of me and it did say 100% human hair. She said if it wasn't then the fake hair would melt on the curling iron.
