How was everyone's first year?
since the year is almost coming to an end and most of us have celebrated their one year... how was it? did you guys learn anything new about each other?for me, we definitely had our ups and downs, thankfully mostly ups, but it went very well (although i still have 2 more months to go).
one thing i did find though, when he's annoyed with me, he doesnt tell me right away but rather waits until i pick a fight with him to bring it up. so it'll be like 3 months later and he'll say somehting like 'well, how about when you....?' and i'm, like 'what the h ell are you talking about?'
anyway, all in all i hope there's many more years like this to come.

Re: How was everyone's first year?
first year was good, there was an adjustment period the first six months I think because we hadn't lived together prior to getting married. I think we've gotten used to each others habits and schedules by now.We traveled a lot our first year, which was a lot of fun.
We started off the marriage with our HM obviously...we went to Italy for two weeks. In January we went to the Poconos for two nights. We went to D.C. in May for two nights, went to Boston in July for two nights, went to Quebec City in August for a week. Then for our anniversary we went to Newport for two nights. We also went to Philadelphia for a day for his business trip a few weeks ago, that was fun too.
Everyone tells me when you get married before you have kids make sure you travel, so we got a lot out of the way in the first year. Hopefully we'll have a few more nice trips before the baby making starts!

Re: How was everyone's first year?
NO I cannot say I have learned anything about him just yet I didn't already know. We have been together for quite sometime and lived together. The thing I did learn instead was that other people around us changed. Our single friends and just in general .. family .. it is interesting to me about how other can put 'expectations' or 'judgments' on you after marriage.
Just truly strange.

Our first year married went pretty well.It flew by very fast.
I can't think of anything new we learned about each other but I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting.

I hear ya...as soon as we got married people got that much more nosy about our business...asking us about when we're going to have kids, and the ever popular 'how's married life?'....still hearing that even though the 1 year mark has passed!
