Re: Construction Workers' Wives Thread

LOL.

My DH is a carpenter and is in bed by 8:30 every night. I commented once that when we have kids, I could tuck them all in at the same time every night.

He said: Nah, I will be in bed long before the kids.

Re: Construction Workers' Wives Thread

Dh is an electrician, and he comes home sometimes complaining how every bone in his body hurts. Especially if he is pulling wire and he needs to bring it up on the roof of a building and can't use the elevator. I feel really bad.

How about all the cuts and scrapes they have on their hands from work.

Re: Construction Workers' Wives Thread

My dh is a carpenter too! Plus he plays in a band and they rehearse twice a week until midnight. On the days that he is home, he sometimes falls asleep at 7:00pm!!!! I lay there with him sometimes and then i go to get up and he's like 'where are you going?' I'm always like 'It's 8:00pm, you can't make me go to bed!'

However, i must say that he is such a clean person. You would never know he does construction. He uses a scrub brush on his hands and feet! They tease him at his job sometimes because his hair is always perfect and he always smells good!

Dh is a carpenter and project manager and he comes home beat up and limping every day lol we're both in bed usually by 9 but thats because of our daughter we jsut learned to go to bed when she does because who knows what the night will hold. Im very nervous lately because DH almost fell off the country club they are building he slid down the roof and lucked out by being able to hang on to the edge, he also recently fell 10 ft and landed on his back it freaks me out i cant take it.
