NWR: Cats
So my cat is a terror. He rips everything apart, eats everything in sight (including my shoes), I swear he does not think he's a cat. He's just awful. He scratches at the bedroom door at night and if the door is open he just bites us. O and he never cuddles, just bites....I seriously don't know what to do.Does anyone know any good training tactics for cats???

Re: NWR: Cats
get a spray bottle and when he's doing something bad or attacking you spray him with teh water. its harmless but they hate it.i did it for my kitten and she no longer goes on the tables and doesnt scratch me as much. she learned what the bottle is and now i just have to shake it at her and she stops
let me know if it helps

Re: NWR: Cats
Do you have catnip? My cat loved it but made him really wild and the vet said take it away.the spray bottle definitely helps. by the way, my cat now loves water. I give him a bath twice a month. If I leave the bathroom door open and i am taking a bath he wants to jump right in.

Re: NWR: Cats
he is actually not concerned about catnip...doesn't really like it.the vet just told me to get a tin of pennies to shake around him when hes bad.

I agree with Jackie. We just used squirt guns. made it a little more fun.
