Re: Lingerie...with poll

I bought one thing at VS the week before the wedding (they have very little selection in the stores, most of it is online), 3 cute pairs of underwear and a set i ordered online from VS, and then whatever I got at my shower. I thought I had very little but I turned out to have a lot

It was fun to have, if you dont have any, but it's not necessary to go overboard. also, some places like Joyce Leslie (by roos field) have similar stuff for a lot cheaper

Re: Lingerie...with poll

I'd get a few things but don't break the bank. VS is a little pricier than Frederick's or even Annie Sez or Target!

Re: Lingerie...with poll

I voted buy out the store, but that's just b/c I had something different for every day....I only bought 3 new outfits though (for our 10 day HM). I got 2 at my shower, and brought a bunch of things I already had....but had at least one lingerie outfit per day

Re: Lingerie...with poll

honestly, i didn't buy anything YET, but I think i will. I'm gonna wait till after my shower (where i'll prob be getting some). If I don't, then i plan to buy just one lingerie from VS and some cute panties (if i ever get enough $$. lol) Don't go overboard on the lingerie if you feel like you can't afford it. It's not that big a deal, since you prob wont even be in it long anyway

Re: Lingerie...with poll

In a perfect world I'd be able to buy a whole new wadrobe for the HM including lingerie for the night.
Making final payments and such I will only be getting one or two lingerie pieces for the HM.

Honestly, I received a pegnoir set, a really great chemise, pretty bra/panty set plus bought some items.....and never wore any of it ! However, I'll make good use of it very soon.

Re: Lingerie...with poll

I got a bunch at my shower...actually my BP found a poem and it had lingerie for everynight of the HM. I wore one everynight! and I had a penoire (Sp?) set for the wedding night. Dh loves lingerie. I would def check kohls and target and macys...even tj maxx...don't go broke. IMO VS is overpriced and it's just not worth it for the amount of time you actually wear it!
