I've been calling and calling...

so many make up stylist but they all seem to want a minimum I'm afraid to just call anybody. Can you girls please recommend a makeup artist that is willing to travel and also one that doesn't require a minimum. Thanks a ton ladies!!!!

M ia from Aura does not have a minimum. She is a little expensive but completely worth it!

I would try Elena from Bridal Touch. She's $250 and up for the day of for hair and makeup and she doesn't have a minimum.

Marie Katz – she will travel, will only do just the bride – she only did my makeup the day of, she is reasonable $$ and she is soooo sweet, nice, kind and was a pleasure to work with!!

she charges $350 for make up. PLUS travelling fee, she takes a cab and you pay for her back and forth cab fare. I live in queens so it wasnt that bad since she lives in the city BUT if you live in LI the price can be about $200 for travelling fee

I LOOOVED her though and was confident in her work. ALso my mom works in the city at salons and the ppl in her salon charge $2k-5k just for them to come to you, so i grew up knowing those prices and this actually seemed reasonable lol. Compared to other city ppl though she is very reasonable. Most charge $500 to do it in the salon but if they come to you its more. Of course after being on LIW i realize its pricey compared to vendors on here

Yeah I fell in love with this one other woman but she is 495. . but you do get to keep the makeup don't think I can pay that. .

yeah the place i get my facials done is owned by a famous make up artist, ive seen her in magazines and i think won the award last year for best wedding make up artist, it was in the magazine with best nyc vendors. Well i saw her prices and she charges about $700 to get make up done in the salon, if you want her to come to you then its even more money.

Maureen pedala is pricey compared to LIW vendors, but inexpensive compared to city vendors. And the truth is all she knows is city prices so im sure she thinks her prices are very good compared to others in the city. If you get your make up done at her place the day of its $200 though
