Daycare/Childcare question...

Just curious... I live in North Carolina (Raleigh area), and for Daycare here, it costs from $700-$1000 a month in a facility. How are the costs up there? Thank goodness my parents will be living here by next week. They can help out with at least PT daycare.

seems to be in the $1,000 per month range also.

About $1000 for M-F full time care.

I live upstate NY in the country and it's only like $500 a month. Wahooo...one good thing about living in the boonies.

Too bad the day care providers have no teeth.

Depends on the childs age. I work at a preschool and we take children starting at 2.9...full time its about 600 per month, but I know thats an older age.

The one we will eventually go with will chanrge about $1200/month..depends on how many hours in the day & age of child. WE are willing to pay this based on the level of care/teaching that they will offer.
