Re: Ideas for baby shower favor?
I was just at a baby shower and they gave out glycerin soap with a rubber duck attached to it. It was very cute. I think it was Julie's online soap store or something like that.I guess that didn't help much did it?? ha!

Re: Ideas for baby shower favor?
My sister and I had a shower for my GF and we made Boo Boo Bunnies...They are so easy to do..It's just a washcloth and rubber band's, little eyes and a ribbon...you will need a hot glue gun to stick the eyes on...if you want...I can give you instructions...I attached the ribbon with a little saying to explain what they are around it's neck and made a poem to also give out as a little extra something...

I went to a baby shower and they did the boo boo bunnies. They were really cute! You should definitely do them....Baby powder candles -- what a great idea! Too bad I'm not in charge of a baby shower

Misty - that is hilarious
What about regular chocolate, picture frames or fridge magnet with the date on it?

Re: Ideas for baby shower favor?
My boss just walked away...so here you go....it might sound a little confusing on how to fold the washcloth...once you have them and start to roll it...you will be able to see how it forms into the bunny shape...it took me a little while..but once I did one...it was easy. I used a glue gun instead of white glue...it was easier for me that way....I'll be back with the little saying I attached to the ribbon...BRB...Supplies:
Thin washcloth
7 mm wiggle eyes (2 each)
Rubber band
1/8' wide ribbon (cut 11' long)
3/4' pompom
1/4' pompom
Plastic ice cube
White glue
Prep:
Cut ribbon in 11' lengths.
You can also divide up all the necessary supplies along with a copy of the directions and put them all in a small ziploc bag. This helps to not lose small pieces all over the place.
Assembly:
Roll two opposite corners of washcloth toward each other and meet in the middle. Roll tight.
Fold in half.
Fold open end up and over to form head.
Wrap rubber band around head leaving ears behind rubber band.
Put a few drops of glue between rolls on body.
Glue eyes, nose and tail.
Tie ribbon around rubber band with bow on top of head.
Put frozen plastic ice cube in center of bunny to soothe boo-boos for your little ones.

Re: Ideas for baby shower favor?
Personally, I do not like the boo boo bunny thing. Its cute but very impractical for anyone that does not have a child. So with that said, I wanted to make something special for my sisters baby shower. I made these picture frames that have magnets on the back for the refrig. It was a HUGE hit!! Everyone can use this!I bought these from Oriental Trading Company. They have so many different things to choose from!
Good Luck!!
