will this cp be a bad idea???
http://www.thefoxhollow.com/colonial_briar_fox.1013.htmlim using those centerpieces, someone mentioned that it may cause a fire, lol what do u think?? i just loveeee the cp though, i really dont wanna change it, if anything maybe ill do candles on the stand itself, if that makes sense. i also wanna do the same arrangement on the fireplace but i think thats safe, or i hope lol. the florist didnt say that though.
ETA: im planning on using the same one in the pic but im gonna replace the peach wtih red bc its december and it goes with christmas!

If there was a potential hazard there. I am sure the florist would have said something. Double check with them if you are unsure. But I think they are beautiful!

Re: will this cp be a bad idea???
I wanted a very similar CP. I went to the florist and asked him about it. He told me he doesn't suggest getting the tall candles because 1) they burn quickly and before the reception is over, they may be almost gone and 2) it is VERY hazardous. HE talked me out of it and persuaded me to get tea lights instead. I think the tall candle ones are gorgeous but I'd be a nervous wreck having them after my florist telling me the cons of those candles.

Re: will this cp be a bad idea???
I never heard that they were a fire hazard. The only thing I heard was that they dont look as nice all the time b.c the stupid candles tilt and it looks weird in pictures. I am still debating whethere or not I should get it myself.

Re: will this cp be a bad idea???
They're really pretty! I see what you mean though, those candles sure are close to the greens. Maybe a CP with the candles going up the side in the spiral might be safer?

Couldn't you use no drip candles, the ones that burn slower?

Re: will this cp be a bad idea???
I don't know much about them, but my mom uses them at Christmas. I am sure your florist would know. They still drip a little but they burn very slowly.Welcome New Vendors
