Can you girls post a pic of you and your husband dancing to your first dance?

I know this is a silly request, but my FH and I are not sure how to dance together for the first dance, where to put our arms, hands, etc. Would you ladies mind posting a pic so we can see how you danced to the first dance? Thanks!

Never mind posting wedding pictures. DH was so nervous about first dance. He is very uncomfortable slow dancing (meanwhile he loves to dance). We had to do some practice runs before hand to make him calmer. We actually talked almost the entire time and laughed and stuff. It was pretty funny.

Don't mind DH's neck. he is probably saying something silly - and sticking his neck out for emphasis.

I think a lot of it depends on how tall your fiancee is, because we are about the same height. We practiced before, that I think is a good idea!

We really enjoyed our first dance. It felt like we were the only two people in the room.

I also enjoyed our first dance and felt amazed that it was actually happening! We practiced too, even though DH hated practicing!! We did a dip at the end too!!

His right hand should be on your left shoulderblade..

shamma...thank you, but if you saw DH when we first started oyvey!!

he was aweful...stepping on my feet...but it only took like 3 lessons until we got it down and anothe instructer showed his new couple to watch how we did it!!

we still messed up at the wedding, but no one realized...

I don't have any professionals scanned, but I'll be honest ours came out terrible and on the video we look so awkward...we practiced and all but I guess it was hard b/c we were nervous or whatever....

Thank you so much to everyone who posted pics! Not only were they extremely helpful, but I am more excited than ever now. You all looked gorgeous on your wedding day! Thanks again... I guess it's safe to say that we will be practicing beforehand to get the feel of things, but I feel much more comfortable after looking at all your pictures. Thanks again. You have no idea how much I appreciate all your help!
