09-er with question: Winter epics-thoughts/ideas

So FH and I are getting married in May (memorial day weekend) so we agreed it would be cool to have our Epics in a different season for a contrast of pics. As the days are now shorter and we would like the sunset and since Fall is almost over, FH thinks it may look pretty if we take epics in winter (with snow on ground)

Ok, sooo..anyone else thinking of doing this? Thoughts? pics if anyone did do this already?
Only part Im not crazy about it having to wear coats in the pictures..

Yes I do like this idea. We really wanted to do this but it never snowed enough on the weekend and it was going to be hard to schedule with my photographer.

We wanted to go to CEntral Park and do horse and buggy, etc. But never happened because it was too hard to predict the weather :(

you know how models have to wear swimsuits in freezing cold waters on the beach bc they shoot way before the season...i think you have to pretend you're adriana lima and bite the bullet and still do the winter shoot without coats on...just have the hot cocoa handy for inbetween shots
