December Brides - Where are you???

I can't even believe that next weekend some of the December girls will be getting married already

With our dates quickly approching what do you have left to do?

I still need to:
1 - Possibly buy vases for centerpieces (FH's cousin is a florist and doing our flowers so I feel like I can't be pushy and need to let FH handle this...but he's procrastianting and I'm getting pissed)
2 - Decide on my 'Something Borrowed' and 'Something Old'
3 - Buy Candy for Candy buffet
4 - Buy scoops for Candy buffet
5 - Buy shoes to change to because my heels are OK but I don't think I'll last in them.
6 - Create Must take pic list
7 - Work on Must play/Do not Play list
8 - Get Marriage License
9 - Wrap bridal party gifts
10 - GM/RB gifts (FH in charge of this also)
11 - Follow-up with people who didn't RSVP yet
12 - Seating Chart
13- Place Cards
14 - Box evereything for ceremony and reception to take to church and RH
15 - Wedding day Timeline
16 - Rehearsal
17 - Complete all my fittings and pick up my dress.

Am I missing anything?

Hello fellow December Bride,

-I have to get the centerpieces together completely, but those have to be done last minute due to the filling in the vases.

-I still have to wrap all the BP's gifts.

-I have to have my veil pressed, but I am thinking I can use an iron to do that, with the steam right??

-I have to finally CHOOSE a freaking hairstyle. I am going for a 2nd trail this saturday :( I hate being picky about things.

-I have to try and find a cheap ring for FH, since he isn't going to wear a wedding ring, and I don't want to use his fathers , b/c that is just creepy, I have to find something cheap and silver lol He will never wear it again I am sure

- still have to pay florist the remaining $400

- I have to confirm with the hall, mr.met, photographer, limos and chapel.

- I have to put together my petal cones!

- I also need to find a place to take pictures, but I am going to check some place out this saturday.

Ugh, I hate cutting things this close :( But nothing like last minute to help you get your butt in gear lol

Do you have your cake serving set, your flutes, runner, petal cones, or whatever you are throwing at the ceremony, tips in order, comfy shoes and a change of clothes with you?

Comfy shoes are still on my list to buy...everything else you mentioned is pretty much ready to be boxed and taken to RH or church

- Pick up supplies at florist shop to give to the florist
- Seating arrangements
- Set up favors
- Fitting for dress

- Teeth whitening

ugh i can't even look at this list. it is making me nauseas (sp?? )

that is me right now between finishing papers for school, working (or trying to work ) and trying to go to the gym which hasn't happened since last Thursday, and trying to get wedding stuff done

It is all just coming tooooo FAST!!!!!!

FH's nieces are taking car of that. One of them works at an RH and she really wants to do them. I forgot to give her a deadline for that..woops.

Left to do

1- Meet with rabbi to finalize program ( doing that today)

2- Have 3rd dress fitting and pick up dress

3- Call the florist to finalize flowers and find out total still left to pay

4 - Find out when Favor #2 will be ready and pick it up from store

5 - Buy BM's Pashmina's and figure out what I will be wearing on my shoulders

6 - Finalize shuttle schedule ( people are only now starting to book the hotels, arghh)

7 - Create a schedule for the bridal party for the Day of the wedding

I think that's it.

Out of curiosity, are you taking pictures outside? What will you be wearing? Did you buy something for your BM's to wear for outside pictures? I can't believe I did not think of this before.

I sent out for my placecards and menu's so hopefully I get those by the end of the week....

Should be getting my cardbox by the end of the week as well....

Cake topper I received....

We have to make 15 table numbers! Yikes!

We have to get a unity candle! Yikes!

We have to buy candles for the hurricane vases that will line the aisle....

All of the above plus our favors (which my FSIL wrapped for us ) have to be packed up for the RH....

We have to wrap the bridal party gifts and get cards for everyone plus something extra to add to each gift....

We have to meet with the DJ

I have hair coloring on Friday and dress fitting

I have to figure out what I am wearing for the rehearsal dinner

Finish packing for the HM and get FH to start packing his clothes and bathing suits....

Write our vows

Shop around for another pair of earrings....

There is def MORE I just can't think straight at the moment!

wait until you are a week and a half away - its a weird feeling and even though my list of things to do isn't THAT bad, just the very thought of the wedding is overwhelming - the only thing i feel is the overwhelmingness, the stress, not really the excitement - i mean im excited but just trying to think about what HAS to be done in the next week and im trying to figure out a way to do it....just scheduling the dentist for a cleaning, i have to get waxing, hair coloring, mani/pedi - just scheduling all those things is enough to make you go nuts

I completely agree. I feel so much more overwhelmed that excited at the moment. The FH and I are definitely arguing a lot more because we are both so stressed out about everything nowadays. I really don't want to do anything for Thanksgiving as I feel like it is such an inconvenience to have to spend a day away from wedding planning. I can't wait to be on my honeymoon...

that is how i feel - i wish we didn't have to do anything on turkey day - we have my aunts and then my FH's parents house - instead i wish we just had a day to relax and finish the things that we need to get done ourselves, like the table numbers for example....friday after im off but i have hair and then two dress fittings so my day is shot....

I guess I am one of the only people who are really going to wing it lol

I really don't see a need for a list, I mean, I have a small list, but I think everything is practically taken care of and in order. Plus, I will be home all of next wednesday, thursday and friday, to think about everything haha

I am just a lazy biotch now :(

I forgot all about an automatic payment I have coming out every month, and I didn't think about it when I was thinking about money for the HM haha
