OMG I am in SHOCK

My sis just called. She is 32 and has been with her husband since she was 17. They have 2 beautiful children. She came home from work today and he had taken the kids to his parents. He told her he wanted a divorce. She is so devasted she cannot even talk. His family is loaded so they can afford a good lawyer. He must have been planning this. I don't even know what to say to her or do for her. And her poor kids. Please say a prayer for her and her kids.

How sad! I'm really sorry your sister has to go through this, especially with two children. I know it will break your heart to watch her deal with it. There isn't much you can do besides be there for her and listen.

I found that when I was going through a terrible breakup (although not a divorce) it was the friends that called me everyday, especially at night when I was alone that helped the most. Some people thought that giving me 'space' was a good idea. it wasn't! For me anyway.
