What's DH's ugliest clothing item?

I'm going through our closet to donate clothes to the needy, I have some old stuff I'll donate, but I'm just floored by how many ugly clothing items DH has...and I know he won't want to get rid of them either!

The worst is he has a Hawaiian shirt...he's ever been to Hawaii, I'm not sure if that was a gift or if it was his own lack of fashion sense, but I've never seen him wear it. But ask him if we should donate it and he'll be like 'Oh that's still good, I'll wear that around the house'...who wears that around the house?

Hahaha, what a great topic! My DH has several outdated items but the worst thing he still wears is a pair of velcro sneakers. He likes not having to tie his shoes but they are such old man shoes. Actually, I used to work with dementia patients and one of my clients had the same sneakers, hahahahaha.

OMG DH has velcro sneakers too...never wears them but there they are, taking up room in our closet for some reason.

when dh and I started dating 11 yrs ago , I had my 1st thanksgiving with him at his parents house and I got gravy on my shirt so he went to get me a shirt and hands me a army shirt the size that a 10 yr old would wear so I asked him where he got it and it was his from when he was 5

DH has a pair of SHINY VINYL Nike's that are bright orange and white. They are hideous

OMG, my DH has this red and green plaid/check button up ralph lauren shirt.

When I comment on it, he says something like he paid $5 for it in Marshalls 20 yrs ago or something. Like that makes the ugliness OK.

What's worse is that he has actually wore it out (without me, of course) w/ navy and red adidas track pants

I'm cleaning the closets this weekend so I think it might be 'misplaced'

He has like 20 horrible flannel shirts.

One day we went to a friend's house and he took it off and threw it on the couch. His friend's GF found it and thought it was her BF's and started screaming 'ew omg *** is this thing, are you pretending to be a lumberjack or something?'

yeah well, it was DH's and I thought that would convince him to throw them out but no they are his regular winter wear!

we just cleaned out our closets looking for clothes to donate

i made him get rid of every ugly clothing item and he tried to fight it.

i was SO GLAD to see this mustard yellow and brown plaid button up short sleeve shirt go! that thing has been around longer than i have

i cleaned out DH's closet when we starte dating! fringe vest, leather vest, karate kid head band!, high tops!! ohhhhhhhh and allll the flannels!

now my least fave item HIS ELASTIC BOTTOM JOGGING PANTS!!!

DH has these awful 1990's style caprenter jeans and when i tried to get rid of them two years ago he said, 'you can't throw those out, those are my job site pants for when I paint and stuff.'

The boy is the least handy man i know... that is why the job site pants are hysterical
