Things to do before getting pregnant.....

My Fh and I are talking about trying to get pregnant a few months after the wedding, we are emotionally as well as financially stable. Here is my question, helathwise, what do I need to be doing now to prepare my body for an impending pregnancy- I eat right and am healthy, go for regular paps, at almost ideal weight- have 20 more pounds to go on WW. ( I have lost 57 so far). The wedding is in a year. Thanks!

you should take folic acid. - actually an all around women's vitamin is a good idea.

Folic Acid and vitamins are super important. Also, if there are any projects around the house you want to do, you might want to start those. Once you are pg you cannot paint anymore or do heavy lifting. Also, make sure your immunizations are up to date. Most of us need a booster or need the Hep A vacines.
