Thanks so much!

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I think a simpler veil would be better for your dress...
The back of your dress is so pretty, I wouldn't want to take away...
JMO though...

Your dress is very pretty!

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I would go shorter to show off the back of the dress, but I am not into long veils.

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

Hair's going to be half up half down. If I got this veil I would definitely go with a shorter length (40 inches - although I'm only 5'1').

Thanks Sage! I am worried about the back of the dress being visible, since that's where the drama of the dress is (plus it's what people see during the ceremony). That's why I value the LI Wedding ladies opinions!

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I think it will look pretty... and if you'll take it off after ceremony, you'll get to show off your back

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

Farah....yes, the back of your dress which is gorgeous will be somewhat hidden by the design of the veil....
And I think of you walking down the isle and as you are passing people...they will see the back of your dress and it will be 'dramatic' and beautiful......

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I love the back of your dress - maybe a slightly shorter veil? It would be a shame to cover your dress too much!

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I don't think the veil will cover the back of your dress much - you can see the details of the girls dresss in the mirror in the picture. It's gonna look great!!!!

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I have this same veil in my 'wish' book - I absolutely love it! if you like it, go for it!! and if your wedding is over before may of 2004, perhaps i could take it off your hands.... (of course, i have yet to buy a dress yet, let alone start veil shopping!)

Re: opinions please! Dress and veil question

I agree with a shorter veil that dress is to pretty to have a veil that long.
